OUR STORY

 

Ear Tags by Design, LTD came out of the creation of tags for our growing cattle business. After several inquiries about the “unique designs” on our ear tags, I began designing for other cattle operations.
Ear Tags by Design was the FIRST to custom design the laser engraved, custom designed ear tags. The trend has caught on. Here I am 20+ years later, doing what I love for others in an industry like no other.


Ear Tags by Design has since branched out to birth announcement, weddings and business promotional items. I can only imagine where this adventure will take me, thank you for joining me.

  • We use the Ritchey brand tags. They are dual layered to allow us to laser engrave for long lasting, non fading tags for your herd.

  • We use the large tags for our cows and bulls and medium tag for our calves. The small tags are wonderful for goats and sheep. It is a personal preference.

  • We use the Ritchey Clover button backs exclusively. It is essential to use only the Ritchey tool pin. The tool pin can be easily installed in most taggers in the industry. If you are purchasing a tagger, we have had the best results with the Ytek Universal Tagger. The Ritchey tool pin screws into the tagger easily.

  • You bet! We do engraving on the back side regularly, whether it be your ranch name or a phone number. Let us know what you want and we will try it.

  • You know it! We create Tag the Date, wedding favors, table number tags, birth announcements, luggage tags, keychains, goat neck chain tags, horse emergency collars and more. Our clients have had the best ideas! Just contact us and tell us what is on your mind
